Park Play Early Learning Centre is a non-profit organization and operates a 90-space Centre located in the Westerra neighbourhood in Regina. We are currently hiring for permanent part-time Childhood Educators with availability from 3 PM to 6 PM
Responsibilities:
- This position will enhance the curriculum and the children's learning in many ways, in both planned and spontaneous play, by implementing activities and following the interest of the children between 18 months and 5 years old.
- Planning and implementing an enriched Early Learning Program, focused on the individual needs and interests of the children.
- Maintaining on-going positive interactions with the children during classroom activities on an individual, small, or large group basis.
- Using a variety of strategies to guide children's developmental skills in accordance with policies and procedures as set out in applicable regulations and standards.
- Planning, organizing, and/or facilitating family education and family/child groups that reflect the needs and interests of the families.
- Promote wellbeing and encouraging growth and development in children in addition to respecting each child's uniqueness and individual needs.
- Providing a safe environment that maintains orderly, clean, and appealing facilities, removing known and potential safety hazards.
Qualifications:

- Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR-C, Criminal Record Check
- A sound theoretical and practical understanding of typical child development
*
- Excellent communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.00-$28.00 per hour
