Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bookkeeping. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of financial principles to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Duties

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Assist in payroll processing using systems like Payworks to ensure timely employee compensation.
  • Conduct account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • General office upkeep
  • Provide farm support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Farm application data entry and review

Experience

  • Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to analyze financial data effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.27-$31.96 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
