Overview

Blue Star Learning Centre is currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Plumbing Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and preparing students for the Red Seal Plumbing Exam.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured lessons aligned with the Red Seal exam requirements
  • Support students through theory and practical understanding of plumbing concepts
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Facilitate engaging classroom discussions and activities that promote critical thinking and active participation.
  • Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages respect, collaboration, and inclusivity among students.

Qualifications

  • Valid IP Red Seal Plumbing certification
  • Extensive knowledge of the plumbing trade
  • Strong instructional and communication skills
  • Proven classroom experience with a strong background in teaching or instructional roles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students effectively.
  • A commitment to professional development and lifelong learning in the field of education.
  • Must be fluent in English

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00-$80.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Red Seal certification in Plumbing (required)
