Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and assisting shoppers with their needs. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about technology and retail sales, possesses excellent communication skills, and is capable of engaging customers through product demos and upselling techniques. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling us to serve a diverse customer base effectively.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance shopping experience
• Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, offering knowledgeable advice on features and benefits
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new or featured items, highlighting key features and advantages
• Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments via various payment methods
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, restocking shelves, and ensuring product availability
• Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-focused approach
• Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products and store policies
• Keep the sales floor organized and clean, adhering to store policies for safety and presentation
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
• Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and POS systems is a plus
• Ability to perform product demos confidently and effectively
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining displays and stock levels
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
• Professional phone etiquette for handling inquiries courteously
• Ability to work well within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when needed
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings if required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$22.83 per hour
