Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for vehicle maintenance and customer service, offering an opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment. The Lube Technician will be responsible for providing efficient and quality oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.

Duties

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs efficiently while adhering to safety standards
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential mechanical issues or maintenance needs
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to complete service tasks accurately
  • Assist with basic automotive repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate
  • Uphold dealership or company standards for quality work and professionalism
  • Support sales efforts by informing customers about recommended services and products

Experience

  • Prior dealership experience or mechanic experience is highly preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures is essential
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive maintenance equipment is required
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
  • Experience in automotive repair or maintenance roles is advantageous but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn
  • Knowledge of sales techniques related to automotive services is a plus
