Toronto, Ontario, Canada EnStream LP Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Title: Head of Marketing

Location: Toronto

Department: Marketing

Who is EnStream

EnStream is a trusted leader in secure mobile identity verification and data services in Canada. We work at the intersection of technology, telecommunications, and data privacy — enabling businesses and governments to deliver seamless, secure digital experiences to their customers. Jointly owned by Canada's largest telecom providers, EnStream is uniquely positioned to provide secure access to mobile network insights that drive innovation and protect consumers.

Our mission is to empower frictionless trust in every interaction. EnStream is dedicated to increasing trust and convenience for Canadians using real-life, verified identities and network data held by trusted telco networks. At EnStream, every team member plays a critical role in shaping our strategy and delivering meaningful impact across industries.

About the Role

We're hiring a Head of Marketing to build and lead EnStream's marketing function from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity for a creative, strategic marketing leader with a researcher's mindset and a storyteller's heart — someone who wants to shape a category, not just follow one.

You'll define our market positioning, brand, and go-to-market strategy. But more importantly, you'll help us deeply understand our customers — from enterprise partners to the everyday Canadians whose identities and experiences we protect.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can think strategically, move tactically, and scale a brand from enterprise credibility to mainstream cultural relevance.

Key Responsibilities

Build and Lead the Marketing Function

  • Establish EnStream's marketing foundation: strategy, systems, KPIs, and team roadmap.
  • Build a scalable, insight-led operating model that aligns Marketing, Product, and Sales on shared goals, messaging, and metrics.
  • Execute campaigns and programs directly while progressively building a high-performing team.

Customer and Market Insight

  • Conduct deep customer research (qualitative + quantitative) to uncover emotional drivers, product needs, and market whitespace.
  • Explore trends shaping the "trust market" — identity, fraud prevention, digital privacy, and consumer sentiment.
  • Translate insights into strategic narratives, messaging, and product implications.

Brand and Storytelling

  • Craft a resonant brand voice and identity rooted in trust, credibility, and emotional clarity — one that speaks to both enterprise buyers and the Canadian public.
  • Develop a narrative strategy that bridges our B2B offerings with our long-term goal of becoming a consumer-recognized brand.
  • Build content and campaigns that express not just what our products do — but what they mean, who they protect, and why it matters.

Product Marketing and Go-To-Market

  • Define our value propositions and messaging for key audience segments (e.g., banks, fintechs, government, partners).
  • Lead product marketing efforts: positioning, launch plans, packaging, and sales enablement.
  • Partner with Product to ensure market insight shapes the roadmap and product narrative.

Demand Generation and Partner Marketing

  • Design and run demand generation programs — digital, event-based, and account-based — to drive qualified pipeline.
  • Build co-marketing programs with carriers, banks, and other channel partners.
  • Develop lifecycle campaigns to increase adoption, retention, and customer advocacy.
  • Collaborate with Sales to co-design campaigns and account-based marketing programs that drive qualified opportunities and revenue impact.

Analytics and Optimization

  • Define and track KPIs — awareness, pipeline contribution, cost per lead, campaign ROI.
  • Set up and optimize marketing tech stack (Systems and reporting tools).
  • Run experiments, measure performance, and refine approach based on feedback loops.
  • Track and report on Marketing's contribution to Sales pipeline and conversion performance, ensuring accountability across teams.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of B2B or B2B2C marketing experience, including startup or scale-up environments.
  • Strong foundation in product marketing, brand storytelling, and demand generation.
  • Experience in regulated or trust-based industries: fintech, identity, telecom, security, or data infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives and go-to-market strategies from scratch.
  • Hands-on experience building systems, launching products, and shipping campaigns.
  • Highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.
  • Analytical mindset with experience implementing CRM and analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.

Why Join Us?

You'll be part of a team shaping Canada's digital trust infrastructure. We partner with leading banks, fintechs, and telecom providers to deliver identity and fraud solutions that protect millions of Canadians.

But we don't stop there.

We're laying the foundation for a nationally trusted brand — one that represents security, privacy, and digital dignity for everyday people. The systems you help communicate — and the stories you tell — will influence both C-suite conversations and consumer consciousness.

At EnStream, you'll have the freedom to think deeply, create boldly, and lead with integrity.
