What you'll be doing
As Senior Director, Regulatory Policies and Programs, you will play a pivotal role at the forefront of CIBC's commitment to regulatory excellence, business integrity, and strategic transformation. As a key member of the Operations and Oversight leadership team, you will be accountable for regulatory oversight and policy management across Day-to-Day (D2D) Banking and Savings, Investing & Advice (SIA) groups. This high-profile position empowers you to advance regulatory compliance by serving as a policy expert, strategic advisor, and oversight partner, supporting teams in navigating regulatory change and guiding the implementation of new requirements. Your leadership ensures adherence to regulatory frameworks, drives policy improvements, and enables proactive compliance, all while supporting strategic business objectives and making a tangible impact on CIBC's ongoing transformation. If you thrive on solving complex challenges and influencing change, this is your opportunity to lead at the heart of regulatory strategy for D2D and SIA.

How you'll succeed
Regulatory compliance - Partner with stakeholders to ensure products are compliant with all standards, guidelines, and regulatory obligations.
Policy management - Lead the review, design, and implementation of regulatory policies, and manage due diligence governance and attestation processes.
Operational excellence - Continuously improve operational compliance and data stewardship, proactively adapting to regulatory changes.
Strategic analysis - Provide analysis and recommendations to senior management, champion policy frameworks, and participate in cross-functional projects.
People leadership - Recruit, develop, and motivate a high-performing team, fostering learning and development opportunities.
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience in regulatory compliance, with deep knowledge of financial services policies, standards, and industry practices.
You can demonstrate experience in leading the implementation of new regulatory programs for Product, driving successful execution and adoption across the organization.
