Position Overview

The Parts Advisor is responsible for assisting both internal service technicians and external retail customers with parts inquiries, orders, and support. This role requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge of automotive components, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers and technicians in identifying and ordering required automotive parts and accessories.
  • Provide accurate parts quotes, availability, and pricing details.
  • Process parts orders, returns, and warranty transactions.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and participate in stock management.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized parts department.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on special-order parts and backorders.
  • Collaborate with service and sales departments to support business needs.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in automotive parts required (Ford or dealership experience is an asset).
  • Strong knowledge of automotive components and systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency; experience with Serti, CDK or similar systems is an asset.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a busy environment.
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract.
