Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting equipment, loads in a roll off. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and vehicle maintenance. The Driver will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of our logistics and transportation services, supporting the overall success of our organization. we take pride in our equipment and want an employee to treat the truck like its his own. this position is part time but can move to full time in the new year with the right person. our roll off is a 2013 ken worth t800 tandem with 18 speed.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate roll off truck
  • Load and unload heavy equipment as needed
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for all trips
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules and delivery status

Skills

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience operating heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is preferred
  • Knowledge of freight handling and securement techniques
  • Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to tight schedules
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
