Job SummaryHow you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for fulling orders, loading food, and training other drivers.
As a delivery driver you will be responsible for:
- Perform all duties of a standard driver, including driving, loading/unloading, delivering goods and handling
- Prior to beginning each day's route, ensure that truck/vehicle is properly loaded with all products required to properly service scheduled delivery
- Acting as a liaison between drivers and management
- Ensuring safety compliance and attending safety meetings
- Be responsible for ensuring that all orders are properly identified with the correct route and location
- Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
- Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre & post trip vehicle inspections
About you:
- Strong attention to detail
- Task orientated. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and deadline orientated environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for up to 8hrs or more
- Physically able to carry out duties of position
- Must have a valid Class Driver's license
- Police Clearance Required
- Several years of driving experience
