As a Foreman at ITC Construction, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead and support field crews, monitor progress, and maintain effective communication between site teams, subcontractors, and project management.

What You Will Do:

  • Safety Planning and Control - Monitor and review the site for compliance with ITC Occupational Health and Safety Program
  • Ensure Pre-Job Hazard Assessment is completed prior to sending workers into areas
  • Inspect tools and equipment each morning to ensure good working order, checking guards, etc. prior to assigning to workers each day; maintain distribution log
  • Ensure workers complete tasks on time and on budget
  • Traffic Control - Review and assist Superintendent in managing traffic control plan; directly overseeing plan when required
  • Deliveries - Manage the truck delivery schedule, ensuring timely and coordinated access to loading areas
  • Site Inspections - Site reviews of work in progress; ensure work is carried out in an organized and efficient manner
  • Site Instructions - Reviews site instructions with Superintendent and the impact to work in progress, ensuring work is completed in compliance with the site instruction

This role could be for you if you have:

  • 4+ years proven experience in the residential construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction standards, and quality control methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple trades.
  • Red Seal Ticket
  • Must be open to performing physical activities (lifting equipment up to 50lbs)
  • Demonstrated ability to safely use manual tools and equipment
