Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, construction practices, and mechanical systems. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing infrastructure across various commercial and residential projects. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and the use of hand and power tools. A strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to perform heavy lifting are essential for this position. Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in new construction and renovation projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics effectively to complete tasks
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely in accordance with safety standards
  • Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
  • Collaborate with other trades to ensure project cohesion
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to plumbing and HVAC systems using technical knowledge
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
  • Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related structures as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role with valid certification/license
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding conditions
  • Knowledge of schematics, assembly processes, and carpentry is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of safety standards related to plumbing work
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
