Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada South Country Village Full time

South Country Village is a Christian based Seniors Care Facility that offers a range of living options that covers the span of the care continuum.

This position will be responsible for the service and delivery of staff and resident meals by following a predetermined menu, portering of hot foods, food preparation, assisting the cook with supper meals, general clean up and transporting of dirty dishes.

This position will also be responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of residents rooms and common areas through out the facility and be required to work as vacation relief in our Laundry Department.

A Food Safe Course that is acceptable to South Country Village is required. Commercial kitchen, housekeeping and laundry experience is ideal. Candidates must be able to verbally communicate in English so others can easily interpret and understand instructions fully. Organizational skills, memorization, attention to detail and the ability to communicate well with our senior population are a must.

A criminal record check with a vulnerable sector search is required.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $15.75-$19.16 per hour
