What We're Looking For:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Marketing Manager at Sweetapolita Inc., located in Vaughan, ON. The ideal candidate will have experience with and passion for CPG (preferably in the food space), work directly with the founder and play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing initiatives, enhancing brand awareness, and driving engagement through various channels. This position requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills, with a focus on digital marketing strategies including SEO, social media, email marketing, and online advertising as well as trade sales and communication. Must be experienced enough to make a major impact, but feel comfortable in a very small team environment.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that align with business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing marketing campaigns, analyzing market trends, managing social media and digital marketing channels, coordinating with creative teams, and ensuring brand consistency. The Marketing Manager will also be expected to collaborate with the founder to identify opportunities for growth and improve customer engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Highly creative
with experience in Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, and Social Media Marketing - Proficiency in developing and implementing Marketing Strategies and Campaigns
- Strong skills in Branding, Project Management, and Market Analysis
- Ability to lead a team, collaborate across departments, and manage marketing budgets
- Proficiency with marketing tools, analytics software, and CRM platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field a plus
- Previous experience in a managerial marketing role is preferred
- Knowledge of the confectionery or e-commerce industry is a major plus
