A full-service Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) company located in Grande Prairie, AB. We specialize in digital radiography but also offer opportunities in ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle inspection, liquid penetrant inspection, hardness testing, ferrite testing and positive material identification. Role Description
Initially the focus of this role will be the performance of radiographic testing as a Certified Exposure Device Operator (CEDO) for weld inspection. Interested candidates will be expected to follow direction in working safely, accurately and efficiently when taking radiographic exposures (or "shots"). Valid certification as an Exposure Device Operator is preferred although we are opening this position up for experienced and inexperienced non-certified personnel as well (Trainees). Trainees will work under the direct supervision of our Technicians. Other CGSB certifications are considered an asset and compensated accordingly.
This is a paid role with variable hours on an On-Call basis. A typical work week will often have several opportunities for overtime hours based on Client demands.

Further Details
Please note that there is some physical demand to this position. Candidates can expect to be on their feet most of the day and will be required to move the exposure device (nearly 60 lbs) often.
We are only accepting candidates local to Grande Prairie at this time.
Qualifications
Knowledge of industrial equipment and facilities
Experience in conducting inspections
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Certification or training in relevant field is a plus
