Compensation: $25–$42/hour (based on experience, productivity, and efficiency) + 4% vacation pay in accordance with BC Employment Standards

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent, Subcontracting | Hours: Minimum 40 hrs/week.

About the Role

Gold Coast Stucco & Design Ltd. is hiring four experienced Stucco Plasterers & Lathers, Siding and Stone Installers to join our growing team. You'll work on commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential projects across the Lower Mainland, delivering high-quality exterior and interior plaster and stucco finishes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prep exterior/interior substrates for EIFS, rainscreen systems (wire lath), scratch & brown coats, and various finish coats.
  • Install strapping/z-girts/hat tracks, metal lath, trims, accessories, and corner beads to spec.
  • Mix and apply materials by trowel or spray: acrylics, slop-dash, rock-dash, Spanish/California finishes.
  • Mix and apply materials by trowel and install stone, cultured stone, brick/flats, blocks etc.
  • Execute EIFS basecoat/mesh, moisture management details, and texture/finish systems.
  • Set up/operate basic equipment (mixers, sprayers) and maintain a tidy, safe work area.
  • Read/understand scopes, follow drawings/details, and complete quality checks.
  • Collaborate with site leads and team members other subtrades to meet schedule and quality targets.

What You Bring

  • Plastering Certificate OR minimum 2–5+ years hands-on experience as a Finishing Plasterer, Wire lath, Stone installer, Siding Installer.
  • Proven skill with EIFS, Acrylic, Slop-dash, Rock-dash, Rainscreen & Wire Lath Systems, Siding, and Stone/Cultured Stone installations.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team with strong productivity and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working at heights/scaffolds, lifting 50 lb, and working outdoors in varied weather.
  • Safety-minded; familiarity with PPE and site safety practices.
  • Assets (nice to have): Valid driver's licence, Fall Protection/WHMIS/First Aid, swing stage or boom lift experience certifications, ability to read drawings/blue prints.

Schedule & Location

  • Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays as project timelines require.
  • Travel between sites across Metro Vancouver is required.
