**Horticulturalist Foreman – Kingston, ON

Fine Lines Landscape and Designs is seeking a Horticulturalist Foreman to lead our gardening crew for the upcoming season. We are a small, hardworking, and genuinely happy team—and we take our crew culture very seriously. Poor attitudes are not tolerated here. We work hard, support each other, and have a lot of fun doing it.

This is a horticulture-first position. While there may be occasional overlap assisting our hardscape crew, this role is primarily focused on gardening, plant care, and horticultural excellence.

Position Details

• Seasonal contract role: April to December
• Strong potential for long-term employment with annual raises
• Full-time hours

What We're Looking For

• Clean driving record is absolutely required
• Ideally 3+ years experience as a foreman running a crew
• OR significant horticultural experience with readiness to step into a leadership role
• Certified Horticulturalist is a major asset
• Alternatively, 10+ years hands-on industry experience will be considered
• Strong plant knowledge and pride in quality work
• Positive, team-oriented attitude (this is non-negotiable)

This is a horticultural position, not a hardscaping role (occasional assistance only)

Location & Transportation

• Based out of Kingston, Ontario
• Crew meets at the office each morning and travels to job sites in company trucks
• A personal vehicle is not required, but is a major asset
• Public transportation is possible, as the office is located within the city

Schedule

• Rare Saturday work
• Only during weather delays or peak workload periods

Wage & Benefits

• $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
