We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various destinations while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to our logistics operations with a focus on punctuality, safety, and professionalism. Heavy lifting, customer service, stretch wrapping, load securement.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver products and materials to assigned locations within scheduled timeframes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during routes
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo, verifying accuracy against shipping documents
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
Requirements
*
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for safe driving
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS devices or route planning software
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift and move cargo when necessary
- Must pass a drug screening test prior to employment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
- Reliable transportation to reach the workplace if not provided by the employer
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
