Job Summary

We are looking for FUN, Dynamic, Hard-Working and Enthusiastic Lead Coaches for our part-time role in Sherwood park. MUST BE AVAILABLE SATURDAY AM.

Our Coaches must be imaginative, as we teach kids 18 months to 7 years old basic soccer skills through creative games while pretending to be Superheros, Silly Monkeys, Pirates and MORE

Pay ranges from $15.50 – $19.00/hr based on role and experience

Qualities to be Successful:

  • REALLY outgoing, confident personality with a strong presence

  • Quick thinker, 100% reliable and a good team player

  • Understand how to engage young children

  • Previous coaching/childcare experience

  • Ability to lead children through session plans & find your inner child to be playful and fun

  • Have excellent verbal communication skills to engage both children during classes and parents in progress discussions

  • Able and willing to take ownership of role

  • Organized and good sense of time management

  • Having own vehicle is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • Be physically fit to both demonstrate and coach soccer training drills

  • Able to lift equipment bag 30-50lbs

The Role is Part-Time:

  • Consistent availability on weekends is a must with very few dates booked off/year

  • We offer from 3-15 hrs per week.

  • For those interested, we do run YEAR ROUND and are growing rapidly, so there is an opportunity to grow with us

Upon Hire, the following will be required:

  • Valid criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

  • Valid & completed First Aid Certification

  • Written character references
