Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in interpreting blueprints and schematics. This role requires hands-on experience with various hand tools and welding techniques, as well as the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Must possess strong customer service, diagnostics, repair and installation of HVAC equipment. Candidate must be able to work well with others or independently.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to specifications.
  • Build and assemble gas piping.
  • Utilize calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions.
  • Rig components as necessary for assembly and installation.
  • Perform basic math calculations to verify measurements and material requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Gas Fitter is preferred but not necessary
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, welding equipment, and calipers.
  • Basic math skills for measurement verification and calculations.
  • Ability to rig materials safely for assembly processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
