*Your role
Support Planning and Scheduling activities*
- Prepare project schedule with best planning practices
- Load Resource/Budget Schedule
- Set up Baseline Schedule
- Update Schedule Provide guidance and support to lower level planners
- Extract Primavera data files and send to the cost controller
- Issue schedule for internal & external use
- Monitor and control the progress of the work against the Schedule
- Prepare and update Resource requirements reports
- Report critical schedule issues
- Identification and explanation of variances between current schedule, plan, earned values and forecasts, and communicate to the Project Controls Manager, Project Manager
- Ensure proper progress measurement is in place for all projects and portfolios within the P&L through the whole project cycle
- Present updates to Lead/Manager/Project or P&L lead
- Advise on the areas of concern that could prevent meeting the P&L objectives
- Interface with other Project Control Team to maintain integrated cost-schedule project control system
*About younts:*
- Must have University degree (B. Eng, BCom, etc).
- 3+ years of relevant planning experience under EPC projects environment.
- Proficient in MS office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel.
- Preferably thorough knowledge of Primavera P6.
- Ability to learn new software as per the company standards.
- Knowledge of project management techniques and a number of years of hands on experience (i.e., critical path method, progress measurement and earned value technique) and experience in Project planning, analyzing and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills are required with attention to details.
- Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of the general project controls policies and procedures.
- Solid report writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work well with Clients and Alliance partners.
- Ability to work with staff, build and maintain good working relationships with Project Controls team
- Ability to work with project cost controller
