Ready to join a Canadian-owned company that values hometown relationships and its employees? McMunn & Yates, a COR certified leader in building supplies since 1971, is looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our growing Commercial Division team in Oak Bluff, MB.
In this full-time role, you'll be a key part of our evening shift team, ensuring our customers get the right materials on time. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to outstanding customer service.
Please note: There is no public transit available to our Oak Bluff location, so a reliable method of transportation is essential.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Accurately fill, load, and unload orders.
Operate a forklift safely to move and organize merchandise.
Use handheld scanners and a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory.
Perform general yard cleanup and maintenance.
Work as part of a team to deliver the best possible service.
Schedule: This is an evening shift position with a schedule of 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday. You will also be scheduled to work Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and you will receive a day off during the week when you work a Saturday.
What We're Looking For:
Physically able to repeatedly lift and carry over 50 lbs.
Enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work Saturdays and overtime as needed.
A valid Class 5 driver's license is preferred, but not required.
Previous forklift experience is a plus.
Knowledge of building materials and WMS experience are assets.
