Slasher/Operator

SLASHER/OPERATOR – SOUTH RIVER, ONTARIO

T BELL TRANSPORT INC. has an immediate full-time opening for a Slasher/Operator based at our South River, Ontario location.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a slasher and related forestry or heavy equipment
• Conduct pre-shift and walk-around safety inspections and complete Field Level Hazard Assessments
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance concerns promptly
• Work closely with logging and loading crews to meet production targets safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively and professionally with supervisors and team members
• Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Qualification

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating a slasher (required)
• Valid certificate or transcript from the MTCU Mechanical Harvesting program
• Clean and valid driver's abstract
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Work Conditions

• Work is primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions
