Edmonton, Alberta, Canada All Weather at Home Full time

Hello. It's nice to meet you.
If you're looking for a challenge, you've come to the right place, because no matter who you are or where you come from, we're all building something. Every single one of us. Whether it's a home, a career, a family or a future, we're all searching for growth. This is our story too. For more than 45 years, we've built the All Weather Group into the largest privately owned and operated window, door and glass manufacturer in the country. But in some ways, we're just getting started. So, if you're driven to make an impact and bring your best to our tight-knit, people-first culture, we want to hear from you.

Are you ready for this?
As a frontline team member, you shape our customers' experience with All Weather. The last mile, the final yard – every day, you have the power to create positive and lasting memories in the hearts and minds of customers and homeowners by letting them know that they're in your good hands.

We're currently hiring for a
Service Technician I
for our
Edmonton Installation Services department.
In this role, you'll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and get a little bit better each and every day, with the support of a team that always has your back. There's more to any job than words on a page, but the primary focus of this role is to support service operations by performing local service calls as part of a dedicated team. Key responsibilities include assisting with window and door adjustments, on-site glass installations, and completing product-related documentation at customer locations. This is an entry-level position and offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience by working alongside a seasoned Service Technician, while learning valuable skills in the trade.

On any given day, the

As part of a team, the Service Technician I is responsible for:

  • Inspecting damaged products to determine the most effective repair method.
  • Conducting on-site repairs when feasible and ensuring the work meets quality standards.
  • Coordinating the ordering of replacement products when necessary.
  • Outcome: Properly installed, damage-free products that meet customer and quality expectations.

Glass Xchange

Service Technicians Work Collaboratively To

  • Perform on-site glass replacements, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Safely handle heavy materials and, when required, work on scaffolding.
  • Outcome: Properly installed, defect-free glass that aligns with safety and performance standards.

Are you built for this?
We hire as much for attitude as we do for experience, because who you are is just as important as what you can do. Here's who and what we're looking for.

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Warehouse, laborer, manufacturing, and/or construction industry experience (minimum 1 year) an asset
  • Experience using hand and power tools an asset
  • Customer service experience would be an asset
  • Window and door service and/or glazing experience would be an asset
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Innovative and Problem Solving
  • Mechanically inclined and able to work on scaffolding at heights over 12 feet
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
  • Must be physically fit to perform heavy lifting of glass
  • Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible and adaptable in any situation
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract would be an asset
  • Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing

Let's get after it.
Every day at All Weather is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and move one step closer to your goals. If you're interested in this role, we encourage you to apply regardless of the criteria we've asked for. Please visit our careers page to get started now
