The role of the Corporate IT Director is to ensure sound management of information technology, optimize activities, ensure technology monitoring and meet the strategic objectives of the IT sector. The incumbent will also be expected to foster a work environment and climate based on trust, collaboration and creativity within the IT team.

Important responsibilities of the position:

  • Be responsible for managing infrastructure, support, security, technology and application projects
  • Lead and mobilize the IT team as well as foster healthy collaborations with external partners including suppliers
  • Optimize IT processes
  • Ensure the profitability, performance and competitiveness of the IT infrastructure
  • Advising management and various stakeholders on infrastructure, telecommunications, operations and cybersecurity
  • Participate in the tendering process, negotiate and monitor contracts for the acquisition of equipment and the provision of services
  • Manage the infrastructure portfolio as well as the budgets related to the activities of the IT department

Areas of competence and expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in business informatics or an equivalent field;
  • 5 years or more of experience in managing an infrastructure, support and IT security team;
  • Knowledge and experience in project management;
  • Knowledge of ERP, WMS, MES and CRM, BI and integration platform systems;
  • Experience in the manufacturing field (asset);
  • Be action-oriented and results-oriented;
  • Demonstrate leadership and be able to set up a stimulating work environment oriented towards collaboration and creativity.
