Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health status to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program or equivalent training.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
