Position Overview:

Math4me, a leading provider of after school tutoring programs across Canada for K-12 students is on the lookout for dedicated and responsible mentors to join our team We are seeking individuals to provide in-person tutoring for both Elementary and Senior subjects, including Grade 11 and 12 Mathematics and Sciences. Our mentors play a pivotal role in shaping students' academic achievements and overall development. This part-time position requires a minimum commitment of 3 hours per week at our Mississauga/Oakville location.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in the subjects being taught
  • Availability to work a minimum of 3 hours per week (Evenings/Weekends)
  • Familiarity with the current provincial curriculum
  • Preferable Capability to teach Grade 11 and 12 courses: Precalculus, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teach and assess students' understanding of assigned subjects, preparing them for homework, quizzes, tests, and exams.
  • Provide mentorship on extracurricular activities and strategies for university success.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to students' needs.
  • Assign and review daily homework to reinforce learning and track progress.
  • Adhere to a fixed schedule to ensure consistency and reliability.

Education:

  • Must be a current university student.
