Position Summary:

John Bear Buick GMC is seeking a Parts Driver to join our busy St. Catharines dealership. This role is important to the day-to-day efficiency of the Parts Department. The Parts Driver is responsible for picking up and delivering parts and equipment to customers, wholesale accounts and vendors, on behalf of the dealership.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver parts to wholesale customers and collect payment as needed
  • Pick up parts from other dealers/vendors
  • Load and pack the delivery vehicle in a safely manner
  • Deliver parts to the front counter for parts pick up
  • Maintain the appearance of the parts truck at all times
  • Stock in inventory and assist Parts Runners when not on the road
  • Assist with scanning and sorting of daily shipment
  • Participate in perpetual parts inventory
  • Process any damage and discrepancy with Parts Manager
  • Assist with shipping/receiving when necessary
  • Perform other duties and tasks as directed by management

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid class G driver's license with clean driving record
  • General knowledge of automotive parts and their functions
  • Ability to learn and utilize electronic parts catalogues
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Professional appearance

Pay: $17.60 per hour
