We are currently recruiting a Senior Accountant for our office in Burnaby, BC, Canada. Quadrogen is committed to building a world class team and offers the unique environment to work with industry leading companies and institutions. Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accounts receivable invoicing based on milestones specified in contracts
- Follow-up with customers for timely payment
- Ensure integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
- Enter and maintain record of purchase orders in the accounting system
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Maintain and reconcile inter-company accounts
- Complete GST and PST filing
- Manage register of capital assets and inventory
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- Either working towards or has obtained CPA designation
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Knowledge of US accounting standards and regulations will be preferred
- Exposure to, and experience in Sage 50 accounting software
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
