Southport Outdoor Living is a leading outdoor furniture and outdoor living retailer, specializing in premium patio furniture, BBQs, pergolas, and sunshade products. We are hiring an Assistant Manager in Training / Sales Associate to join our team at our Vaughan Showroom. This is a full-time, year-round retail position with growth into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional retail sales and customer service in a showroom environment
  • Assist customers with outdoor furniture selection, materials, and layout ideas
  • Build strong customer relationships and follow up on sales opportunities
  • Support sales targets through upselling and cross-selling
  • Maintain showroom presentation, merchandising, and cleanliness
  • Assist with inventory organization and restocking
  • Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Learn team leadership and supervisory skills as part of management training

Qualifications

  • Retail sales experience (furniture, home décor, or luxury retail preferred)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Fluent English speaking, reading and writing skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Interest in furniture, design, or outdoor living is an asset
  • Leadership potential and willingness to grow into management
