Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for various cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, and common areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance as needed, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Manage heavy lifting responsibilities when moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning schedules and any issues encountered during shifts.

Experience

  • Previous custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and safety protocols is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Proven time management abilities to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Join our team as a Cleaner and contribute to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
