We are looking for reliable individual to work as Production Associate in our warehouse. Shaver Industries is a fast-paced, ever-changing environment enabling the most suitable individuals to learn and grow within the company. The ideal candidate has prior experience in manufacturing, full-time availability and their own transportation.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Associate responsibilities are:

JOB FUNCTIONS

· Be punctual and on time for shift work (start time, breaks, end time).

· Proactively contribute to the best practices of production within area.

· Ensure policies and procedures are being followed.

· Working with textiles and different plastics.

· Light Manufacturing and assembly environment

· When applicable, suggest and implement improvements to workflows, procedures, and efficiencies in your area.

· Work with your supervisor and team to ensure products are prioritized and completed in a timely manner.

· Ensure inventory is kept organized and labelled in your area and in cooperation with your supervisor.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

· High School Diploma;

· Must be conscientious of quality control for finished products;

· Must have a team spirit to accomplish final goals and work cooperatively with others;

· Attention to detail is essential;

· Must be flexible to work on various tasks as required;

· Individual must be safety oriented;

· Individual must be conscientious and reliable;

· Able to take and follow instructions;

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;

· Effective communication;

· Prior experience in production and assembly (Preferred);

· Should be able to use tools (saw/impact/drills);

· Mechanically adept, with a strong understanding of basic equipment operation and maintenance;

· Ability to accurately use a tape measure for precise measurements.

· Bonus points for Shipping experience

**Steel-toe boots and other PPE (supplied) will be required

WORK HOURS:

· Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM

· Friday: 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM

· Occasional overtime may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
