Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team in a fast-paced dental office environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, recalls, accounts receivables and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for patients, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and supporting the overall efficiency of the dental practice.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar effectively, recalls and account receivables.
- Handle phone inquiries, providing information about services, and addressing patient concerns.
- Maintain electronic medical records using systems such as Abel dent
- Process patient forms and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate insurance verification processes.
- Keep the front desk area organized and presentable.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or dental assistant only needed.
- Familiarity with electronic dental records systems, particularly .
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in phone systems and dental terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
