Job Overview

This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of technical skills including plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and installing new systems while adhering to safety standards and building codes.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
  • Perform routine inspections of HVAC units to identify potential problems before failure
  • Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems as needed
  • Use welding techniques for system repairs or modifications when required
  • Operate boilers and other mechanical equipment safely and efficiently
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for installation and repair projects
  • Perform appliance repairs related to HVAC components such as thermostats or control panels
  • Assist in construction or renovation projects involving HVAC infrastructure
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or Mechanic with a strong background in maintenance and repair services
  • Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair
  • Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
  • Experience working with construction or renovation projects involving HVAC systems is preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues efficiently
  • Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations related to HVAC work
  • Valid certification or licensing relevant to HVAC or mechanical work is highly desirable
