Nail Technician Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nail care, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Nail Technician, you will play a vital role in enhancing our clients' beauty and confidence through high-quality nail services and treatments. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell products will contribute to the overall success of our salon.

Duties

  • Provide professional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements in a timely manner.
  • Sanitate tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the salon environment.
  • Preserve an organized workspace to ensure a pleasant experience for clients.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Upsell retail products and complimentary services to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits.
  • Collaborate with the team for support and promote mutual growth.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Nail Technician; additional certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in performing dry/European and Russian manicures and pedicures preferred.
  • Proven experience in nail care services, including knowledge of current trends and techniques.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to recommend/upsell products while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Leadership skills are a plus.
