Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and coordinate all daily store operations, ensuring efficient workflows in food preparation, customer service, and cleanliness to maintain a smooth-running and welcoming environment.

  2. Uphold and enforce strict food safety and sanitation protocols in accordance with health department regulations and company standards.

  3. Manage and monitor inventory levels by conducting routine stock checks, identifying shortages or overages, and placing timely supply orders to prevent disruptions in service.

  4. Provide hands-on leadership by supervising Sandwich Artists and shift leaders, ensuring team members are productive, motivated, and aligned with store objectives.

  5. Lead the onboarding process for new hires, delivering comprehensive training while providing continuous guidance and performance coaching for staff development.

  6. Develop and manage employee schedules, balancing labor needs with budgetary constraints and accommodating staff availability and time-off requests.

  7. Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a courteous and effective manner, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  8. Drive service excellence by ensuring orders is prepared accurately and promptly, particularly during high-traffic periods.

  9. Demonstrate and reinforce best-in-class customer service, setting a professional example for the team to emulate.

  10. Support store performance tracking by assisting in the analysis of key metrics such as sales, labor costs, and operational efficiency.

  11. Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, and conduct regular checks to maintain a safe working environment.

  12. Participate in monthly inventory audits, help reconcile discrepancies, and prepare reports for review by the Store Manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school is required.

  • 2-3 years of experience in food preparation or food service establishment are required or Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline may lower the experience requirement to 1 year.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Passion for the kitchen and for producing great product every day.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must work well within a team culture.

  • A positive and team-oriented attitude.

  • You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $37.00 per hour
