This is a hybrid role with a minimum in-office requirement of 3 days per week in the Ottawa, ON office located at 40 Hines Rd, Ottawa, ON K2K 2M5.
Position Summary
As part of the consumer marketing team, the Sr. Integrated Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for helping to support various initiatives designed to drive consumer awareness of Trend Micro's brand, products, and services in multiple countries.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Planning, execution and measurement of integrated communications strategies needed to support various marketing campaigns designed to raise awareness of the company brand, products, services, events or other initiatives.
- Establishing and enforcing key brand messaging guidelines that support the brand worldwide and ensure consistency across various communications channels including the media, social media, website, speaking engagements, or events.
- Supporting the development of content or materials to be used in media relations, social media, events, speakerships, webinars, or campaigns by working closely with marketing agencies or leveraging internal resources.
- Overseeing social media platforms by supervising the development of the content calendar, overseeing development of social media assets, and measuring/reporting on effectiveness of posts and campaigns that involve a social media element.
- Supervising marketing agencies by establishing relevant success metrics and ensuring agencies are executing against those metrics and within budget.
- Staying on top of the latest marketing trends, tech tools, and best practices to continually innovate and implement cutting-edge strategies where applicable.
Qualifications
- At least 8-10 years of marketing experience in the consumer and/or cybersecurity industry.
- Post-secondary education (degree or diploma) in marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills as well as strong creative and visual storytelling abilities. Knowledge of graphic design tools a plus.
- Proven experience running successful integrated marketing communications programs or marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, processes for community management, and relevant success metrics.
- Experience working in a multi-national setting and collaborating with colleagues and marketing agencies in multiple time zones.
- Impeccable attention to detail as well as strong project management skills.
- Previous experience managing marketing agencies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a network of global and cross-functional teams.
- Occasional international and domestic travel required.
