About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable
*Developer
with experience in
PHP, ColdFusion
, and
database development*
to support and enhance our in-house built operating system. This role involves maintaining legacy codebases, improving system performance, developing new features, and managing backend data structures critical to business operations.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can work independently, quickly learn existing systems, and take ownership of both application logic and data integrity.

What You'll Do

• Support and maintain our custom-built in-house platform built using ColdFusion (CFML) and PHP
• Develop new features and enhancements to support evolving business needs
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues across the application stack
• Manage and optimize relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server), including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and indexing
• Maintain data integrity, perform migrations, and support reporting requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand workflows and design practical solutions
• Contribute to documentation of system architecture, codebase, and database schemas
• Support ongoing modernization and integration efforts, where applicable

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with ColdFusion (Adobe CF or Lucee) and CFML
• 3+ years of experience with PHP, ideally in a business-critical application environment
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
• Experience debugging and enhancing legacy codebases
• Familiarity with web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience working in a Linux or Windows server environment

Preferred

• Familiarity with ColdFusion modernization or migration strategies
• Exposure to Laravel or other PHP frameworks
• Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, or reporting tools
