Role Overview

We are seeking a
hands-on Quality Engineer
with strong expertise in automation testing, coding, and debugging across web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be an automation expert with solid logical and analytical skills, who can serve as the
Automation Point of Contact (POC)
for automation initiatives, ensuring high-quality and reliable test coverage.

Must Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years
    of hands-on experience in
    test automation
    (end-to-end).
  • Expertise in
    JavaScript or
    for automation scripting.
  • Strong
    logic and analytical skills
    with live coding proficiency.
  • Solid experience in
    Mobile App Automation
    (iOS, Android, Native).
  • Strong experience in
    Web App Automation
    .
  • Familiar with test frameworks like
    Jest
    or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of
    Selenium
    with
    Java or Python
    .
  • Experience debugging test failures and framework issues.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality automation under agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the
    Automation POC
    for assigned projects, driving end-to-end automation efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with QA, product, and engineering teams to define and execute automation strategy.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts
    for web and mobile applications.
  • Maintain, debug, and enhance automation test code and frameworks.
  • Perform
    test execution, root cause analysis (RCA)
    , and ensure SEV issue prevention.
  • Identify technical blockers, propose solutions, and execute exploratory 0→1 automation efforts.
  • Track and monitor
    automation ROI, test health, and reliability
    metrics.
  • Conduct
    code searches, framework debugging
    , and suggest improvements.
  • Deliver clear and actionable bug reports, test status updates, and communication to stakeholders.
