The Opportunity
This role is accountable/responsible for the development, and administration of service and repair orders. The procurement of service-related parts for repairs and replacements and, providing support to technicians and other service personnel.
The Role
- Handle customer inquiries related to service and repair
- Maintain strong customer relations (internal and external)
- Interact directly with customers, suppliers, and manufacturers to obtain repair information and parts quotations
- Compiles repair reports, labour estimates and quotations as per SOP
- Follow up with customers and manufacturers, including Warranty and RMA
- Conduct regular follow up with customers who have been provided with repair quotations and who did not schedule approval of the repair

- Negotiation – Handles conflicts by having open discussions. Remains objective and neutral, clarifies issues and concerns to assist collaboration and solution building.
- Network and Relationship Building– Recognizes and builds networks or working relationships with others who can provide information, support, knowledge, and experience in response to current and future needs.
- Planning and Organizing – Accurately estimate the duration and level of difficulty of responsibilities, duties, and tasks. Establishes priorities and identifies critical tasks that need to be handled immediately.
- Results Orientation– Is able to focus on desired outcomes, by meeting or exceeding standards based on past performance, goals, and objectives.
- Service Orientation– Provides superior service to both internal and external customers. Follows through on commitments and responds to inquiries, emails, requests, and complaints in a timely fashion.
The Candidate
Education:
High School or College diploma / Postsecondary Education
Work Experience
: 3-5 years of related experience in service, parts, supply chain, or product support operations
Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of industrial equipment and/or the hydraulic industry is an asset.
Proficiency:
Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
