Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of building operations. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic construction environment. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to high-quality project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
  • Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, and electricians in their tasks
  • Perform manual labor such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials or tools as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by clearing debris and adhering to safety protocols
  • Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site
  • Support site organization to ensure materials are stored properly and work areas remain hazard-free

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required; training will be provided
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
  • Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and work well within a team environment
  • Basic understanding of construction site safety practices is advantageous
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on-site

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
