We're currently seeking an Associate Dentist for a locum contract beginning at the end of January 2026 at Saugeen Shores Family Dentistry in Port Elgin.

Accommodations will be provided for the duration of the contract.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated, patient-focused clinician who enjoys practicing comprehensive family dentistry in a supportive, well-established environment.

What You Can Expect

Modern, Supportive Practice

Clinical Scope

Provide a wide range of general dental services, including:

  • Preventive and restorative dentistry
  • Endodontics (root canal therapy)
  • Extractions and minor oral surgery
  • Cosmetic dentistry (whitening, veneers, etc.)
  • Opportunities for additional procedures based on your experience and comfort level

Strong Systems & Team Support

As part of the True North DPO network, you'll have access to proven systems, mentorship, and administrative support — allowing you to focus on delivering excellent patient experiences.

What We're Looking For

  • Licensed Dentist in good standing with the RCDSO
  • Adaptable, confident clinician with excellent communication skills
  • Positive team player who values quality care and patient relationships
  • Available for a 3-month locum contract starting late January 2026 (schedule to be confirmed)

  • Duration: Approximately 3 months
  • Accommodations: Provided
  • Hours: full-time hours (Monday to Friday)
