Performance Expectations…

  • The successful candidate will greet and assist all guests, giving great customer service with every interaction. You'll prepare made-to-order gift baskets, cheese & charcuterie boards.
  • You will provide exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and speedy service
  • You'll be consistent and dependable for your team members
  • You'll care for the cheeses and the space, following our documented procedures.
  • You will taste our various products along your journey to build your knowledge and ensure great quality of product sold.
  • You'll receive deliveries, document and store cheese/product, cut cheese and other products and repackage for the shelves.
  • You'll help to keep the shop organized and clean.

What you bring…

  • A sincere passion for all things cheesy.
  • Customer facing experience in the restaurant or food/retail industries
  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain new information
  • Positive outlook and attitude
  • Exceptional personal and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly demeanor
  • Basic Computer knowledge: Word/Excel/Google Drive
  • WHMIS Certificate (desirable)
  • Endurance to exert yourself in a well paced environment up to 8 hours
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to frequently grasp knives and cheese wire handles
  • Ability to stand/walk constantly for the shift
