Asana's Enterprise Technology team is looking for an experienced Salesforce Service Cloud & Experience Cloud developer. This role is critical for designing, implementing, and optimizing our customer support solutions within the Salesforce platform. The developer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to enhance key areas, including case management, omni-channel support, Experience Cloud, chatbot functionality, and reporting, ultimately ensuring the delivery of an outstanding customer experience.
This role is based in our Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What You'll Achieve
- Design, configure, and customize Salesforce Service Cloud features including: Case Management, Omni-Channel, Service Console, Knowledge Base, Entitlements & Milestones.
- Extensive hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining Salesforce Experience Cloud sites.
- Implemented role-based and audience-based access using profiles, permission sets, and sharing sets to ensure secure and appropriate data visibility for external users.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance using profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules
- Strong understanding of case lifecycle and customer support processes
- Strong experience designing and implementing Salesforce Apex Trigger Frameworks to ensure scalable, maintainable, and bulk-safe trigger logic.
- Develop custom functionality using Triggers, Apex,Custom API, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Platform events etc
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security and sharing model
- Experience designing role-based and audience-based user experiences
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD tools like Gearset/Copado to manage source control, automated deployments, and release management
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $128,000-145,000 CAD. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
