As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to support our finance team and help guide day-to-day accounting operations.

This role is well suited for a motivated accounting professional who enjoys being hands-on, working cross-functionally, and contributing to continuous improvement while growing their career.

Position
: Full Time (In-Office)

Salary Range:
$90,000-$110,000

Reports to:
Chief Financial Officer

What You'll Be Responsible For:


• Supporting the Controller with month-end and year-end close activities


• Preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports


• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis


• Helping maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures


• Coordinating with external auditors and supporting audit requirements


• Assisting with inventory accounting, costing, and WIP analysis


• Providing guidance and support to accounting team members


• Contributing to process improvements and system enhancements

What We're Looking For:


• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


• CPA designation (or actively pursuing) is strongly preferred


• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience


• Manufacturing or cost accounting experience is considered an asset


• Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting


• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience is an asset


• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management


• A collaborative, professional communication style
