**Job Title: Support Worker**

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team. The Support Worker will be responsible for providing assistance and care to individuals in need, focusing on personal care, medication reminders, basic housekeeping and meal preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of those under their care. Hours are part-time Mon-Friday 12-5 p.m in a private setting.

**Duties:**

  • Provide personalized support and assistance to our private client in Brantford

  • Assist with daily activities including, assistance with shower to ensure safety, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the individual's condition.

**Experience required

  • Previous experience in or related fields is preferred.

  • Knowledge of practices and techniques.

  • Familiarity with procedures.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong communication skills and empathy towards individuals requiring support.

**Requirements:**

  • Valid work permit or S.I.N.

  • Certification in relevant healthcare or caregiving field is a plus.

  • Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and empathy.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Valid Driver's license and access to a vehicle for community visits.

  • Willingness to undergo background checks as required.
