Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across various facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial work, facilities maintenance, or commercial cleaning, and possess strong communication and time management skills. This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic, organized environment that meets our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or industrial settings
  • Operate hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks as needed
  • Use custodial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and pressure washers to ensure thorough cleaning
  • Conduct facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and inspections to uphold safety standards
  • Manage heavy lifting of supplies or equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow established cleaning protocols to meet health and safety regulations
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs for restocking
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding completed tasks or issues encountered
  • Ensure all work areas are kept organized, safe, and compliant with company policies

Qualifications

  • Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; familiarity with facilities maintenance is a plus
  • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
  • Demonstrated reliability with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment responsibly
