Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event & Community Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing events from conception to completion. This role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills, along with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. The Event Coordinator will work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that every event is executed flawlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, logistics, and entertainment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
  • Manage budgets and ensure all expenses are tracked accurately.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services.
  • Provide excellent guest services during events to ensure a positive experience for all attendees.
  • Upsell additional services or products to enhance the overall event experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and increase attendance.
  • Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during events promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain detailed records of event planning processes for future reference.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event coordination or a related field, such as hospitality or customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and vendors.
  • Time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of budgeting practices and financial management related to event planning.
  • Experience in marketing strategies to promote events successfully.
  • Background in restaurant or hotel operations is a plus.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors for optimal outcomes.
