About the Team

The Operations Technology division supports mission-critical platforms that handle post-trade functions such as settlements, regulatory reporting, client reference data, position keeping, and corporate actions. These systems process millions of trades and settlements daily across global markets and financial products, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and loans.

The
Counterparty Data and Regulatory Technology
team is leading strategic initiatives to modernize the client onboarding and regulatory compliance platforms. This includes adopting cloud-aligned architecture, BPM integrations, distributed caching, and modern UX frameworks.

Role Overview

As a Java/Angular Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of next-generation onboarding and regulatory platforms. You'll work closely with global stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions using modern technologies and agile practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java, Angular, and related technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, infrastructure, and offshore development groups
  • Participate in requirement analysis, architecture design, and agile ceremonies
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, usability, and cloud adoption best practices
  • Engage with global users to refine UI/UX and improve platform functionality

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java EE, Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot
  • 2+ years of experience in Angular, , and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Strong understanding of RESTful services and service-oriented architecture
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design, design patterns, and application integration
  • Solid SQL skills and database design experience
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Jasmine, Karma)
  • Experience with Unix/Linux environments
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across distributed teams
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with NgRx, Micro Frontends
  • Knowledge of distributed caching and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
  • Exposure to big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Elasticsearch)
  • Experience handling data feeds from external vendors
