Duties:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients

- Prepare and package medications for distribution

- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals

- Provide excellent customer service to patients and ensure their needs are met

- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed

- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills:

- Medication administration: Knowledge of different types of medications, dosage forms, and routes of administration

- Patient care: Ability to interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner, ensuring their comfort and well-being

- Hospital experience: Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations, including medication reconciliation, sterile compounding, and medication distribution systems

- Attention to detail: Ability to accurately process prescriptions and maintain precise records

- Strong communication skills: Clear verbal and written communication with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues is essential

- Organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
